Welcome to Journey Community Church’s eGiving Service
We are pleased to offer you several convenient methods for giving your tithes and offerings online, as well as other contributions:
Option 1: eGiving
eGiving is available for one-time gifts or for scheduled, recurring contributions. Whether you’d like to give a single gift, schedule ongoing donations or view your giving history, you can do it all online. It’s quick, easy and secure. You can give your tithe here as well as your gifts.
This safe and flexible option is the easiest way to give at Journey Church! If you haven’t already done so, simply create a web user account. You may then give a one-time gift or set up your tithe, Grace Fund, ministries or other contributions. You may also add, edit or delete your scheduled transactions at your convenience online. You specify the giving amount and where the funds should be applied. Review your giving history anytime through this access point.* It’s quick, easy and secure.
Not Seeing the eGiving Popup Window? If you use a popup blocker, you will need to disable it in order to use the eGiving functionality. After using the eGiving feature, you can then reactivate your popup blocker. Many popup blockers can be temporarily disabled by holding down the CTRL key while clicking on a link.

Option 2: Personal Online Banking
You can submit your tithe and any additional gifts through your personal bank’s online bill payment service.** Indicate “Journey Church” as your payee, specify your name as the account, and use the following information for the payee address:
Journey Administrative Offices
21220 Lorain rd
Fairview Park, Ohio 44126
Your bank will send Journey Church the payment, and we will record it towards your giving records just as if you had written the check yourself.
Notes * History available immediately to those with an existing web user account. If you just created a web user account, your history will be available within a week. Check back soon. ** Available only if your bank offers online bill payment service.
- First Fruits -In Proverbs 3:9, we are taught to honor the Lord with the “First Fruits” of our labor. By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify you can ensure that your First Fruits are given back to God.
- Simplicity -You will not need to remember if you gave this month or sent in your offering checks when you are out of town.
- Security -Online giving is more secure than giving with a check in that an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. For additional information on how Journey keeps your information and contributions secure, see below.
- No Distractions -Instead of needing to worry about writing your contribution check during the service, you can be fully engaged with the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.
- Helping Journey Community Church -Online contributions require less processing from our staff since the information is logged and deposited automatically.
Keeping your information and contribution secure is a top priority to Journey Community Church. At Journey Community Church, we use an online system called Fellowship One. Fellowship One provides all of the security for the system. This system is used by churches throughout the country and has been fully tested and secured.
There are two aspects of security related to the system. First, Fellowship One provides data security using the latest security technology. The following statement is from their security documentation: “[the system] utilizes the most current encryption technology to maintain the security of your data. Every parameter passed in the hyperlinks is fully encrypted. Additionally, the Login module handles passwords using what is known in technical terms as salted hash. In layman’s terms, this means it would take 50 computers (running constantly) continuously presenting password combinations four years to discover the password.”
The second aspect of security relates to account creation. When you first create a new account in the system, you will be able to donate immediately, but you will not have access to any previous contribution information. Before that can happen, we must manually link your previous information to the account you created.
In order to verify the authenticity of the account request, we will ensure that all of you data matches our current records (e.g., address, phone numbers, and email address). If there is any question, we will contact you via email before creating the link. Since this is a manual process, we will perform these steps approximately once a week, but if you would like to speed up this process, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you create your account, you will determine your own login id and password. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. If you need help or cannot remember the email address you used, you can contact us at email@example.com.
Please keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see. Please note: Journey Community Church will never call to ask for you login information so please do not release such information.
Your information is held securely by the Fellowship One System. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
